What about all of the non-government operated companies involved in space related technologies?  Companies like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Raytheon, etc all have large space technology divisions.  Are the hundreds of thousands of scientists and engineers that work for these companies all part of the Conspiracy too?  I just had an interview with Lockheed Martin.  Maybe I can get one of those fat conspiracy checks too!
kind of playing devil's advocatre here
but lockheed martin is kind of governemnt a wee bit

Seriously, I stopped caring awhile ago. If it really is flat, then I'd actually be excited. 'Cuz reading this, I got a jumpstart on telling the confused masses how the world REALLY works  :D

Then everyone on this site could organize a knowledge freedom movement and remove the ice guards ourselves.

We really should take em out, unless they have the ion cannon everyone talks about, but fo real, someone get some balls, its boring reading about the flat earth, lets hear about it, NOW

feers stfu

Go buy a damn plane ticket and request a window seat

I've been on many planes and I've never seen a round earth. I've even and asked other passengers near me if they could make out curvature on the horizon. None of them could.

Don't you need to be higher than average flights to see the curvature?  And Tom, from now on if someone asks me if I can see the curviture of the earth from a plane, i'm punching them.

It has been established in other threads you do need to be higher then your average commercial flight. I believe a lot higher. That is to see actual curvature, which it wouldn't. 'cause it's flat.

It ain't flat...
damn right

Isn't it a little cold for the guards there? Antarctica can be very cold.
The guards have very high-tech clothing that keeps them warm.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: DO Asteroids Exist (in FE Hypothesis)?
« on: February 28, 2007, 11:45:16 AM »

Science is usually whats debated. FE and RE use slightly varied forms of Physics, so thats pretty much where the whole "debate" thing comes in.

Yea, gravity doesn't exist in FE hypothesis, so it is only a slight change in physics of what they believe. Yea.

gravity does Exist. Earth just doesn't have it. the stars and the moon do in a small quantity. then again gravity is just acceleration at 9.8
.. which is the FE equivalent of gravity, upwards acceleration of 9.8 of the Universe.
so what defines what has gravity then?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: What if we were moving downward?
« on: February 28, 2007, 11:43:14 AM »
Tom, you DO realize that the ENTIRE big bang theory is at complete odds with FE, right? Or am I over assuming your brain capacity. Maybe you've had too much "Blue Air"
definatly over assuming his brain capacity

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: DO Asteroids Exist (in FE Hypothesis)?
« on: February 28, 2007, 11:34:11 AM »

Don't worry, you were just taken in by the government's evil plan to make people think the Earth was round. It's like believing that Night Elves from Blizzard's World of Warcraft could be slain by impalement from a thrown sword.
they just wont die

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: DO Asteroids Exist (in FE Hypothesis)?

Have you ever seen an asteroid or coment IRL?

Millions have.  That's why there's people out in the dark when they come around.

I mean one's that aren't easily faked. OH, a little flamming dot in the sky is passing by!

So, in an FE'ers state of mind, I suppose the question should be restated like this: "Have you ever been hit by a comet or asteroid?"

In that case.  No.

Therefore, asteroid's and comets and the like are all part of the conspiracy

Have you ever been struck by lightning? No? Then lightning doesn't exist. Have you ever been caught in a hurricane? No? Then hurricanes don't exist.
actually yes to number 2
That easily could've been a government simulation where they had giant hoses and fans blowing water into your face and knocking trees and buildings over.
/smacks head
how could I have been so stupid

Wtf does that have to do with anything?

Exactly what it says, I guess. regardless of who's posting them, pictures are an inadmissible form of evidence.
the pictures part came from someone bringing up the fact that the pictures from Diego's now famous "my trip to the icewall" thread were most likely Googled. Google being brought up as a tool to find evidence of asteroid impacts on earth, and being rejected, because, Google is an evil empire.

So what your saying is EVERYONE needs to go see these craters for themselves in order for them to be real evidence?
apparently
but then if you did you would be a part of the conspiracy of course
