This has been done before, it proves only that the earth can be circumnavigated.  This fact has been known for centuries.

Oh the fictional work at the top of the forums? Yeah I read it. Show me the evidence, I see no times. Had you really done the round the world trip you would have proven round earth a long time ago.

500mph in one plane is 500mph in another one so I don't see your point.

Distances are distances, and a flat earth could not be possible once you navigate the GLOBE once and post your times between continents.

I am not going to waste my precious time proving common knowledge.

It's amazing how common it is for "common knowledge" to be wrong.  After all, it's common knowledge that the earth is round.

For more information on the OP, find the thread called Merged Ultimate Challenge for FE'ers in Debate. It's neither ultimate nor a challenge, merely tedious, but it is indeed merged.

It has never been considered invalid. The only "explanation," I wouldn't call it insightful though, it that optical distances might be different than physical distances. But comparing the distances traveled between cities in the northern and southern hemisphere you are will see that they match RE distances and not FE distances.
You, sir, can't comprehend the idea of bottoms.

Then organize a flight across Antarctica.  This is probably one of the biggest longshots of FE - that Antarctica doesn't even exist.  There are, literally, flights over Antarctica every day, to get from Argentina to New Zealand, or from South Africa to Australia.

There are surely more than 200 RE'rs.  Why don't you organize a flight over Antarctica?
By eliminating all present contradicting possibilities you would arrive at the present truth. It's impossible to arrive at a future truth.

No, there aren't. Argumentum ad posterium is a logical fallacy.
