If anybody is interested he did it.

Although he wasn't the first. A man by the name of Jon Sanders actually went around twice and he did it in 1981-1982. This Sanders guy has set many solo sailing records in the past 35 years.

India is now in orbit of the Moon. This may be a good story for debate.

Flat Earth Debate / Parachuting from above Mt. Everest.

Here is a good video for all to look at. If you stop this at :15 you will see definite curvature of the earth.

This is a new high adrenalin service that is being offered so we should start seeing even more convincing evidence of RE in the near future.

Flat Earth Q&A / Magnetic Field
« on: June 02, 2008, 08:34:55 AM »
Been a while since I have posted anything, but I came across an article about a guy building a miniature earth to find out if it can generate its own magnetic field. The article is pretty detailed and very applicable to this debate.

Richard Branson to be the first man to marry a couple in space:

This will be done from 70 miles up and allow for "spectacular" views of the planet. Just think of all of the new conspirators this will produce!!!

Flat Earth Q&A / Ion engine enters space race
« on: April 18, 2008, 06:09:28 AM »
I want to start out by asking if it is considered as trolling the way that I post articles to this forum. Next, here is an article about a private company that is sending an ION drive vehicle to study the earths GRAVITY. What is cool is that the ship has solar panels on one side, the one that faces the sun, and fins that work like a heat sink on the side that faces away from the sun. Anyway, I post these articles because I feel they demonstrate the RE and also should lead to good debate here.

Flat Earth Debate / Another Link
« on: April 11, 2008, 07:31:27 AM »
Here is a link to a new report involving all of the space junk around the earth. If you click on the one link on the left on the page you can see an animation showing the stuff accumulate from 1954 with sputnik up to 2000. Does this prove anything? To RE's it proves the earth round to FE's it proves the conspiracy i guess.

Flat Earth Q&A / My admission
« on: March 07, 2008, 07:52:09 AM »
I must admit that I came here with the full intent of trying to find enlightenment to a FE. I wanted to be convinced. I really expected to find more solid arguments against RE than I have. You must prove your theory correct not prove other side wrong. It seems that on that account the RE camp is more compliant than FE. I must now confess that I am a blatant RE believer. I feel I can no longer be non biased. I have spent a lot of time searching for articles and information to show reasonable doubt in RE but most searches just come back to here. I will keep looking to outside sources for CURRENT validation but I do understand that I am biased, but I try very to have an open mind. If anyone cares.

Flat Earth Debate / Just curious...
« on: February 29, 2008, 11:03:25 AM »
I was wondering what brought each of you to the flat earth society? I actually followed this site for about 3 months before subscribing and making my first post. I came here mostly out of curiosity. I never new this place existed until one day I was on a site that was debunking the moon landing debunker's and this site was mentioned. So I guess I came here to see all the crazies and I actually stayed around because I think these are some of the best debates I have come across. I am kinda an armature space nut, I was present at the Apollo 11 lift off when I was 3 years old, and just can't get my head around the thought of space not being what I believe it to be. I also have loads of data and information that I have collected over the years associated with Apollo 11 that I would be happy to scan and submit if anyone is interested.

Flat Earth Debate / DARPA planing new statellite tech...
« on: February 29, 2008, 06:09:29 AM »
DARPA is planning to launch new modular satellites that will be able to be updated and changed while in space. This will allow them to change systems rather than replace equipment. I know this is a government entity but they will use private industry to make this happen. Any words or thoughts on this.

Flat Earth Debate / Do we really see what we see???
« on: February 21, 2008, 09:00:57 AM »
Here is a good article about how our minds can see only what we want to see. It is reporting about a large study on how perception works. It doesn't mention the earth at all but should open everyone's eyes to help put some sense into the debate here.

If you guys don't like me posting the way I do please let me know. I am only trying to add to the debate and not be too one sided.

Flat Earth Debate / Lets start an expedition??
« on: February 19, 2008, 02:00:38 PM »
This post is not in jest I am serious!!!

I haven't been able to find anything in the forums on this. Are there any modern scientists who are actively proclaiming the FE?  I am not being curt but I would like to know. It seems all the documentation is all very old and I am sure it could use an update. An actual map could be made. Most people on this forum seem rather intellengent. Why not put our heads together and make it happen.

If the conspiracy exists then there will be no government help but I am sure private enterprise would take this on in a heart beat. Lots of publicity and who knows maybe a rewrite of history.

The reason I ask is I assume that there are FE proponents who have money and could team with these scientists and make an expedition to find the ice wall. This would be like Hillery climbing Mt. Everest, Sir Edmund, not Clinton. The greatest exploration ever. I would be interested in going along and seeing for myself.

There would need to be a live web feed of the whole trip and lots of documentation by both sides, so that the conspiracy would be seen. RE people are always interested what is on the other side of the mountain, ocean, forest. It seems that the FE people are just content to sit at home and veg. There would need to be FE and RE believers or else the other side would call it a hoax or whatever. Don't you FE folks want to know what is on the other side of the wall? What is under the earth? Why not try. At least RE people try.

I would help in any way I could to be a part of this journey. I just have no way to fund it or I would try it myself. Anyone willing to try this?

I am!!

Flat Earth Debate / Total eclipse on its way.
« on: February 19, 2008, 06:52:24 AM »
I think this will be a good issue for debate as there is a new eclipse on its way. This will be a good time for everyone to get out their cameras, telescopes and note books and lets see which side makes the best argument for what happened!!!!

Flat Earth Debate / Satellite spotters!!!!
« on: February 18, 2008, 07:58:49 AM »
I know I will probably eventually get kicked for posting all of these links like I do but I believe that they provide very good debate. Here is another late breaking article about people who spy on satellites. They are called Satellite spotters! Are they part of the conspiracy? I have been trying to find new news on both sides of the debate but I have yet to find anything new or current that actually reports on FE except other forums and the like. As soon as I find something in the general media that reports on FE theory or supportive articles, I will post those links as well.

Flat Earth Debate / Here is your flat earth!!
« on: February 15, 2008, 05:55:51 AM »
I guess this will show that North America is actually part of the conspiracy and doesn't really exist, because when most people believed in flat earth only the "old world" existed in their minds.
