If you want to debate evolution let's do it in another thread and not detail this one.
I don't think there is any aspect of the evolution debate that I haven't already done to death in real life.
A guy who worked for me years ago, an electronics engineering graduate, was a happy clapper, nice kid, smart as a whip. But was convinced by the Young Earth Creationist arguments that the earth was only 6000 years old.
Just because you have a functioning brain, doesn't mean you can be skeptical when religious beliefs are involved.
In the end I stopped trying to convince him of the age of the earth, I realized that I was just being arrogant to try and tell him what he should believe.
If he chose to believe the literal interpretation of the bible, that's his choice.
So, no, I won't argue with you on creationism, I just choose to believe the evidence instead. The world/universe is an incredible enough place without having to invent gods.
You go ahead and believe what you want.
