Pink Clouds from ISS
« on: October 11, 2016, 10:19:13 AM »
Not sure if this link will work, but I hope it does. Some lovely pink clouds from ISS as it passes from day to night earth.

I remember having a discussion with a flat earther who asked why we never see orange or pink clouds from the ISS.  The answer is ....WE DO!

I get better image quality from playing KSP, NASA really needs a bigger budget before they attempt videos like this. LOL

Actually no, NASA has better image quality then KSP game. KSP game needs a bigger budget to increase their image quality.

I'm sorry but the video you posted is less than video game quality rasterization. It's laughable anyone would assert it's authenticity.

If you accuse them (Space companies) of being bogus, and if they are authentic then you are bogus.

I don't see any "rastering". The resolution is certainly not up "Full HD" standard, but who knows what processing its been through between "live" and the display here.

My image was from a 1920x1080 screen, but photobucket cut that back to 1024x576.

Really Mr Narcberry, I don't think you know what you are talking about. Go back and play with you Space Invaders of KSP or whatever.

Why would that be inciting terrorism?  Lorddave was merely describing a type of shop we have here in the US, a bomb-gun shop.  A shop that sells bomb-guns.

Now put your hand in frame wearing a latex glove and slap a NASA logo on there and you can start working for the CIA.

See?

For the record I'm not even arguing against the FE.

Nark made a statement saying KSP looks more "realistic" than Nasa's photos.

I proved him wrong, that was all. I don't like to see people being openly dishonest.

Anyway.

Aliasing could be from resizing image, video compress and image compression.

Why would there be screen tearing? that only happens when viewed on a screen, not on footage rendered frame by frame into a video file. Where is your 'screen tearing' ?

I am sure you are not this stupid... but you do realize your 'waves' are actually clouds, right?

I enjoy a laugh as much as the next poster on this forum, but there's funny trolling and then there's narc.

He's just reinforcing the FE stereotype of assertions without any evidence.

Don't be too hard on the narc. He's obviously learned his catechism well and just regurgitates the required bit of FE 101 when the occasion arises!

But you would think that in 10 years he would have learned something more, still some people are slow learners.

I do.
That reminds me of:
"You remind me of a man"
          "What man?"
"A man with the power"
          "What power"
"The power of hoodoo"
          "Who do?"
"Yes, you do"
          "I do what?"
"Remind me of a man"
          . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . .
"You decide which are resolved threads?"
          "By what power?"
"The power of hoodoo" I suppose?
Don't be ridiculous
Then you ask, "I'm looking forward to your next questions!"

But the only answers you give are a regurgitation of the Flat Earth 101 notes you received during your indoctrination, with never a shred of evidence'to back it up.
Asking you anything is a complete waste of time?

I suppose I could ask why does the moon when overhead appear less than 2% larger than when it is near the horizon?
FE distances indicate it should be about 4 times larger.
