Real debate
« on: October 04, 2016, 02:11:51 PM »
I came here hoping to find some real debate between people who believe the Earth is flat & people who accept the globe Earth heliocentric model of the solar system. Sadly I have found none.

Would anyone like to propose a flat earth model that we can debate?

For the record I think the globe Earth heliocentric model of the solar system is pretty accurate & I have yet to see a flat Earth model that doesn't have some fairly major flaws.

A real debate is never goings-on happen on this forum. Maybe if you could get a Skype chat or something, but not on the forum.
I wonder how obnoxious I can make my signature?
Please give me ideas.

This place seems filled with both trolls and people who will never ever change views no matter what you throw at them. There's not much to debate.

Just because you don't understand something, doesn't mean it's not real.

There never will be a 'working' model of FE with correct distances, sun and moon rotations and eclipses, daylight hours in Southern Hemisphere, stars seen in Southern Hemisphere, etc. I have been asking for one for a year now just to explain the daylight hours, but nobody can improve on an age old notion, except by saying the data must be wrong, its a lie or CGI.

Best of luck. Only Heliocentric Globe supporters have replied so far and it seems that almost every Flat Earther has a different idea about
the layout of the continents and tied up with that whether Antarctica is an island continent or not,
what is the cause of what we call "gravity", since gravity completely screws up the Flat Earth,
how high the sun and moon are,
the cause of lunar eclipses, and for that matter even the moonlight and moon phases,
how sunrises and sunsets can occur,
even how the sun and moon stay the same size.
etc, etc.

So the is not really "a Flat Earth model", but such a plethora of ideas that trying to debate it is more like trying to get a swarm of bees back in a hive - some sting!

Best of luck, you'll need it.

Please read the FAQ and search the forum for the current FET model. Sadly, the complete model isnt going to be replied to every new forum user.
