I used to play MUGEN. I should get my friend to send me all the character's he's made. Some are ridiculous.

Warehouses are sites that collect characters.  There's a war between leechers and creators.  If you even mention a particular warehouse at MI you could be banned.

I guess warehousing should be permitted with the permission of the creator, if they don't provide permission, they could link back to where the creator hosts the design, if that isn't available, a way to contact the creator should be provided.

Wasn't MUGEN created to be open source though?  It's kind of against the spirit of the game for them to be so uptight about it.. and they are srsly uptight about it. It's fun to pick on them.

It's freeware, so it doesn't have to provide access to the source code. The actual .exe binary is many years old from my knowledge. The characters and crap probably fall under the same principle.

But yeah, MUGEN junkies are a very stupid lot.
