Flat Earth General / Re: Why don’t FE’rs get together to do this experiment to measure earth’s curvature?
« Last post by JackBlack on Today at 01:05:39 AM »Hey! Why don't we make some game FE experiment, and ask RE ppl to perform it?Because you are too busy making up strawmen and lying to people.
Because RE'ers are not interested in proving a theory that opposes their own belief systems? This just shows a complete failure to understand what these experiments are doing.
They are experiments which allow you to distinguish between a flat Earth and a round Earth.
There are countless such experiments, and plenty of people have carried them out and found that Earth is round.
REers have no issues with performing reasonable experiments to determine the shape of Earth.
It is only FEers with those problems; people who will continually refuse to do experiments, as if they know their fantasy is wrong.
No, I'm calling them shills, just as I'd call you a shill for FE (not that I'd mind) if you suddenly tried to test an experiment to deliberately make it come out with FE results. That clearly is not the case.
You are calling them shills because they honestly performed an experiment and admitted they were wrong.
This is a ball. And notice how that in no way addresses the issue raised.
If we are seeing the horizon curve inward, rather than bulge outwardThis in no way addresses the experiment.
More importantly you haven't even defined what you mean by that.
What doesn't make any sense is water at the horizon appearing to be flat on the outside of a ball.In what way is it "appearing to be flat".
Again, you just spout vague crap with no explanation at all.
What we can clearly see from water is an object above water being viewed by an observer above water, with the water blocking the view.
The simplest and most logical and straightforward explanation of that is the water is round.
Your hatred of reality does not change that.
You have nothing to demonstrate Earth is flat. But there is plenty that shows Earth is round, including the simple facts you keep fleeing from.
Appealing to your wilful ignorance of the RE model will not magically make it wrong.
I realize, no, actually nothing's wrong.No, you don't.
Instead you baselessly pretend nothing is wrong because you can't handle reality.
If you realised nothing is wrong, you would be able to explain it. And that would require actually addressing the issue.
You are yet to come close.
