I was in San Diego for a few days back in the mid 1980's,  I used to work a lot in California back in those days mostly up around Modesto and Yuba City.  They were good times.

I was wondering why the press is suddenly making a big thing about Trump being indebted to Putin,  hasn't it been obvious for a few years now that Russians have been laundering money through Trump real estate deals, and he owes Putin big time.

To suddenly start on about Trump keeping secret his talks with Putin, seems like way too little way too late.

The press is focused on it much more than the Democrats are.

Seriously though, this new report that the FBI investigated Trump for possibly being a Russian asset is a pretty big deal. Either they had a very good reason to think that or a lot of people at the FBI should be investigated. Probably the former.

So why did the FBI open a counter intelligence into Trump just after he fired Comey?

Given that the FBI would have been monitoring Kisylak and Lavrov's communications,  i'm guessing that they intercepted direct communications between Trump and the Russians talking about firing Comey.

So did the Russians tell Trump to fire Comey?   That would make sense of the subsequent events.

That FBI counter intelligence inquiry into Trump,  became merged into the Mueller enquiry.

Seems open and shut.
