READ THE FAQ

http://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1324

It's the topic at the top of this forum that say:

"Flat Earth FAQ *READ BEFORE POSTING*"

For all the illiterate people out there who somehow think that they can convince us that the Earth is round despite not being able to read, that means you read it before you write a post demonstrating the fact that you haven't read it.

"Lots of people have sailed around the world"
Well yes, around the outside of it.   Just consider their navigation methods.  Using a compus sailing south to the supposed equator, then going east or west and then sailing back north.  Like going to the center of the plate walking all the way around and then walking back the the center.

"explain eruptions"

eruptions are easy because the bottom of the earth is being heated too.

The question I pose is, why is it when you look at a globe of a supposed round earth, most of the land is in the Northern Hemosphere and realatively little in the southern hemosphere.  Seems odd that a planet that was evenly cooled and formed can have continents drifting primarily to the Northern Hemosphere.  When proven plate tectonics can easily interpret iceland as being the realitve center and Antartica being the relative perimeter.

When you fly from North America to Russia it's like flying across the plate instead of around the edge.

I mean it only requires some simple logic on your part.  Go to Antartica and see for yourself.  Post us when you get back.  If you ever do.

So, lets just say that 30 people.  Astronauts, politicians, scientists, meterologists etc. find out the earth is flat every year.  Let's say each year, a few people try to explain that the earth is flat, and they are put as insane when they purpose it's flat to the news.  How many astronauts, politicians, scientists, meteorologists would the news have to look at before they start suspecting something?  Let's say that the news are part of the conspiracy, meaning nearly every way of sending out newspapers, magazines, tv news, etc.  Knowing what these kind of things bring out to the world.  Quite a few people would say something.  If I worked for the news, and I knew that people (smart important people in particular) were trying to post a story of the earth being flat.  I would check it out.

30 people a year?

How many astronauts has there been?
It wouldnt require that many people.

Heads of government and space agencies would need to be in on it.  Everyone else isnt neccisary.
Few people want to go to Antartica each year, so they would be easily dealt with.  Why would you want to go there.  oooooo look at all the ice.
