It's solved, you tools, try lurking Suggestions & Concerns, the thread is only a few pages back telling you exactly how to fix it.

Found it and fixed it.

Yet I can't help but scold the person responsible for maintaining this forum.  Not only is that an easy to fix error but there are 3 "English".  English, English, British English.  I run 3 SM forums and this kind of error is inexcusable.

Actually it was this that I responded too:

Lurk moar, problem has been brought up before, has been solved, no I'm not telling you the solution because you need to lurk moar.

Idiot.

There is a solution to the problem but it has not been fixed. One should not have to "lurk" to fix it because it should not happen. The images should work on the default language, or the default language should be the one where the images work.

These are my suggestions and concerns.

To fix it is pretty easy.

First, delete that other English language folder/setting.  It's only confusing.
Second, take the files from the English and copy it over to the British English.  Make sure the names on the language list is the same as the file name (I suspect it is).

Done.

@Parsifal: The issue is that whilst using "British English" as your language, images are broken. Said solution does not exist to fix problem, only to cause another issue, that being the use of a language that I am not proficient in.

Broken Pictures on Different Languages

There are a few broken pictures I've noticed in the forum. The "post new topic," "reply to topic" and I was unable figure out what the third one is, but it is next to the reply button.

Both Chrome and IE explorer have the missing buttons.
In addition IE has problems with the post reply as it always jump scrolls back to the beginning.
So to browse I use IE, and when I want to post I switch to Chrome.

IE explorer
There's your problem. Internet Explorer Explorer is noted for being terrible, as is Chrome. Use Firefox, it actually works.

It's no the browser.  Make sure you change your language settings in your profile to the "English" that is between Persian and Spanish in the list on your Account Related Settings page.  There are a couple "versions" of English in there and the others are broken for whatever reason.

While it wasn't easy to make that change and it took about 30 minutes to be effective, your suggestion did indeed clear the problem. Thanks.

I disagree. I encourage people to ask questions. If you're too lazy to help people like flanman, then don't bother to post. (Though it's interesting that you have the energy to post your whining.) Flanman, I thank you for asking. You helped me.

Yes. It also causes the forum to lag quite often.

That worked for me. Using Chrome. Now everything is ok.
Only took me 1 min though. Not 30 mins as suggested above. Maybe that should be the default when you set up your account? Mods?
