Nor do they me. I spend most of my time on 4chan lurking /b/ and trolling /g/.

I've been having a nose around 4chan and can't get into it. There is nothing to read. Just tragic teenagers squabbling over linux kernals and wanting to know how to cheat in their favourite computer game. It made me confirm I was over 18 on entry. I suspect I am the first person who told the truth on that, all day. The Japanese can keep it. It gets a big thumbs down. Half a star.

I have a feeling the server just runs shit early in the morning each day.  Maybe a database backup or something that would hog up sql and use the available connections.

I do not think ID cards are a worthwhile expense

and I do indeed think too many criminals escape custodial sentence in the UK.

I am beginning to like this Stallman guy more and more.

FES was just unresponsive for approximately eight minutes, because I performed one search. Eight minutes is an exceptionally long time to run a SELECT query on a database. This problem isn't new, but it's been getting gradually worse for more than a year now, which should have been more than sufficient time to get it fixed.
