I tried, but the weather conditions made it impossible. Too cloudy and too foggy. There will be quite a few more flights for me to try, though!

Sorry I haven't posted any pictures thus far, but I didn't take that many during the travel yesterday. The flight itself went rather smooth, but then I got kicked in the dick by the American border control system. 1.5h in a queue to be interrogated, and then another 1h queue for customs. Sad times.

I think I'll refrain from posting pictures daily and instead wrap DC up on the last day here, or sometime around then.

Yep.  And Guess what? All that information gets thrown away or forgotten. You have to do it every time you enter.  It really sucks.

It's a combination of distortion from both the camera lens and the plane windows. Clearly the lens manufacturers have colluded with plane window makers to ensure that every possible permutation of camera and window produces the correct amount of curvature (ie zero). How can you prove otherwise? You can't exactly open the window in flight to check. The conspiracy runs deeper still.

I only have one plug adapter, which I'm using for my laptop, and my camera refuses to act as a card reader unless it's plugged in. That's mainly why I want to do all DC pictures at once - to avoid dancing around with cables all day every day.

Alternatively, I could buy more adapters, but naaaah.

There are many crazy black people here. It's a bit surprising how crazy they are.
