theyre your standard metal from over there in i think... denmark norway, finland. Very heavy, very melodic.

Kamelot is from the States, although the vocalist is from Norway and the keyboardist is from Germany.

Epica is from Holland/The Netherlands.

You listen to shitty music, (S)aint.

i like HIM and 69 Eyes from Finland

Turbonegro from Norway

I am, in fact, anti-metal and avoid it like the plague.

Lately I've mainly be listening to classical music.

You have good taste.

I'm not a fan of metal. I can listen to pretty much anything that isn't Hip Hop, Reggae or R'n'B. Although I like some Swedish Hip Hop.

I prefer European Classical music ranging from the Baroque to Romantic eras. I'm also a big fan of J-pop and J-rock. =)

Oh and I enjoy White Power music as well.

Haha.  I'm not honestly sure if I could agree, but I appreciate the sentiment.

At any rate, a "fight" over such a thing is just silly.  I wouldn't even know what to say, other than that he's a hypocrite for saying he doesn't automatically like whatever's on MTV, but walks around flashing his Manson signature.

Interesting.  I must remember the nineties a little better than you.  In fact, I remember the very first time he was on MTV, before the band even got popular.  I wouldn't be surprised if MTV created the band.

What I meant was that you enjoy underground music, as you called it.  To you, yes, he does "like whatever is on MTV", whether or not that's where he got his music.

BTW, metal sucks, and has sucked since the first day is was made, some people just haven't figured it out yet.

electronic(trance, dnb, house, experimental, etc), classics (southern rock, hippy/vietnam era music, psychadelic rock), Glam rock(david bowie), underground classics(velvet underground, lou reed), Some 80s stuff(foriegner, devo), underground hip-hip/rap (non phixion, mr. lif, rjd2, boom bip), and college radio (before it was infested with emo bands)

No offense, but I wouldn't even classify this shit as music

It's stuff some idiot DJ who had no ear for music whatsoever spent 2
minutes cooking up on his computer, so groups of teenagers all over the
world, who have no real appreciation for the music either can go wild
over it.

At least Metal Requires Talent, expresses emotion, Can be meaningful
It is an art form every sense of the word, which is more than what can
be said for that shit.

Sorry but I'm right... don't even try arguing with me.
