it's equally annoying/retarded for both sides.

When you look at these celestial bodies, even with a telescope, they're entirely two-dimensional

I don't see how you can confuse that sentence.  Or are you claiming that everything you see is exactly as you see it?

...isn't that on what the FE theory was originally based?

and then they released one into the star (was that when the gould was like keeping the wormhole open somehow)?

ahh i don't remember

I haven't seen that one.  Was that based on Earth?

By the way, as a spoiler if you didn't know, the reason that Earth has a shitload of stargates, is because Earth is where the Ancients lived before and when they built the Stargate system.  As far as I know, there are/were four of them on earth?  One in Egypt/SGC, one in Siberia, and I think two in Antarctica?  I think the second one they found in Antarctica is where they found the code to go to Atlantis.

But then again, I haven't been paying attention much to the series after O'Niel got promoted to General and left the show.  I think it's been garbage after that, but whatever.

It might not have been an earth stargate actually. But I do know they did open up a wormhole in the earth's atmosphere and threw a stargate into hyperspace to get rid of it.

And ah okay, I forgot that was it. The stargate they use now is like.... they're 3rd or something. Maybe 2nd though... I'm not sure.

Flat Earth Q&A / So if the moon is round, why can't the Earth be round?
« on: November 27, 2006, 09:53:52 PM »
why does the earth accelerate through space? how? did it magically start moving?

anyway this doesn't really relate but I'm fairly sure there was a penumbral eclipse a couple days ago. again, doesn't relate b/c in a penumbral eclipse the surface of the moon gets a bit darker and that's it. o well.

 (less than 2 mb big)
Not a photo but a video

I invented a new hacky sack trick.  I call it 'bat boat' because the first component is called a sailing set (hard to see in the video but essentially I go around it with my right foot and then my left foot while the bag is going up) and the second component I have named 'batman' (highly unlikely that I invented this component, but I'm the first person to start using it in modern freestyle so I'm claiming it anyway).  Hence the trick is technically 'sailing batman' - which is of course - the bat boat :D.

It's sort of a joke, but I think only good footbaggers would get it :P

You can clearly see the curvature of the earth in that video

1.  How do you explain Maggelan, who circumnavigated the globe and discovered the southern route around the americas?

He works for the Government, he got paid a fortune

Even though he existed in the 1600s?

2.  I assume you believe the moon landingf was faked.  Why?

No-one ever said the moon landings were fake, who knows they could of been real!

But for some of your explainations to work, the moon landing would have to have been faked.

3.  Have you tried to circumnavigate the globe yourself?  If not, how can you say for sure?

Have you even seen the FE'er's map?
Have a look at what the flat earth map looks like and ask that question again!

Videos can easily be faked.  We've presented photos proving the Flat Earth before and they've been dismissed as fakes.  Surely the same logic that applies to us should apply to you.

There are photos that are clearly faked, and some that are not so clearly faked. However, that does not mean you can instantly dismiss any photograph against your theories as faked.

It's annoying when photographs that someone personally takes are discounted as fake. It's annoying as hell.

That's a horrible picture I took of the Sun through my telescope by just putting up my digital camera to the lens.

It's real I swear it :( It just looks terrible.

This doesn't have any relation to this really though.

Unless you're talking about D-Draw's lovely thread about visiting the ice wall, I've never seen an actual picture, only ones that are drawn.
