What I'm trying to say is that a biased observer would be easily able to convince himself that the minute curve visible at that height was a trick of the eye. We don't have a terribly accurate built-in protractor in our minds. You need to fly much higher for it to be unambiguous.
Even Dogplatter admits seeing the curvature of the Earth while flying, but asserts it's a trick of the "curvature of the eye", whatever that means.

Funny- Dogplatter, the one atheist FEer here, is probably the most loony of all of them.
That's not what the scientific usage of the word 'theory' means.
A scientific 'theory' means that it is a collection of observations and proposed
rules, formulae, etc. to describe the real world, that has been tested by many different experiments and verified by many independent groups of scientists.
The issue here is that FE has only been "confirmed" by one researcher, and there are many results from similar experiments, and others, that contradict FEism.
If there was "curvature of vision", the ground would appear to be curved no matter where you were. Now you're just in denial.
Hey - I never cite the Bible or any other religious text as a source - I know it's myth and rife with contradiction and inaccuracy. Don't lump us all in the same boat.

I've seen the curvature of my field of vision, just like you have. The so-called "curvature of the Earth" is a phenomenom explained by a simple alternative scientific theorem. The existence of Paris is not.
