Just like evolution.

From this point forward all theories shall now be call hypotheses.

Sorry, but no. A hypothesis is a testable belief. Evolution is a theory, which is a tested, proven, and not unproven belief (If there is evidence to the contrary, it is not a theory).

"To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree."

Intellectual dishonesty is not very becoming Wardogg.

I don't consider that Darwin quote a quote-mine. Darwin did give some fleeting possible explanations for the evolution of the eye in his paragraph after that one, but he still said that quoted paragraph none the less.

Here's the full quote:

"To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.

Yet reason tells me, that if numerous gradations from a perfect and complex eye to one very imperfect and simple, each grade being useful to its possessor, can be shown to exist; if further, the eye does vary ever so slightly, and the variations be inherited, which is certainly the case; and if any variation or modification in the organ be ever useful to an animal under changing conditions of life, then the difficulty of believing that a perfect and complex eye could be formed by natural selection, though insuperable by our imagination, can hardly be considered real."

Notice the last line: can hardly be considered real

I think the "can hardly be considered real" was referring to the "difficulty of believing".

I stated it was a quote mine because Wardogg posted it as to undermine the validity of Evolution, by acting as though even Darwin believes it is ludicrous, when in fact the quote in-context shows that Evolution would seem ludicrous to those that misunderstand evolution. The example he gives is a full functioning eye magically appearing in one generation.

I am impressed by your wisdom, and am truly sorry if you saw their arguments as harassment.  I understand that some people can't handle spirited debate, which unfortunately is what people seem to constantly want to engage in here.

If you compare my time here to total time online, I only spend about 6% of my day here. That is like a hour and a half a day.

I spend so much time here! It is like a second job!

A mod should give New Earth a stern warning about this harassment I am receiving from him.
