I don't know if it has been asked about or is a known issue, but it's annying when I have a long response typed out and go to post and get the message "Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /forum/index.php could not be found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
and then lose everything I typed.

It's because there are too many links in your post and the forum software sucks. It's also a problem in the FAQ.

This is likely because you are using a banned word or banned string of words. Examples include but are not limited to

rolex
anal sex
zoophilia
poker
viagra

This is supposed to reduce spam but normally just irritates those of us wishing to discuss any of the topics above. To prove how stupid the system is, words like backlink, SEO and PageRank are fine.

Daniel knows and has known for months and months. He hasn't bothered his ar*e to do anything about it. As usual.

It probably has something to do with this, thanks.  I will check my posts next time for link spamming from the person I am quoting.

I found out tonight that "mail order bride" is a banned expression on the site.  :(

 We really need to do something about the Daniel problem.

It'll work fine, but if you start using tags like these, it will not. Mind you, after you've posted, those tags will be automatically added. This won't be a problem unless you decide to edit your post (in which case you'll have to correct all links manually).

This problem is a result of someone (Daniel?) explicitly setting the web server (not the forum software) up to do so. It is a user fault, not a software fault, and as such is trivial to fix.

Daniel hasn't posted in 4 months. Why does he insist on holding on to the society when he's not interested in it? Can't he let Wilmore or Davis or someone run it? He has never really been interested since after the first 6 months it was set up. Seems a bit 'dog in a manger' to me.

Hope it's not a big deal, me bumping YET another won (&& I've just joined :)), BUT: isn't it common practice to have your post/topic saved on the side, since stuff happens on teh internetz. =)
