Fly with me
« on: September 30, 2015, 01:37:31 PM »
Hey there!
I'm a bit new to this theory, and I'd like to understand it better.
So here is my question:
I have my plane parked in a casual spot on the equator, then I decide to take off heading 180, which would be straight South, and maintain that direction, following a straight line, with no turns or corrections of any kind. I'll reach the Antartic continent at some point, right? I keep the same heading, I guess I'll fly to the edge of the Earth. And here is the question(s): has anybody ever reached this edge? How far is it? Will we ever be able to reach it?
Thank you.

Why do you assume that you can not reach Antarctica if the Earth is flat?  Dumb question, but this is a dumb OP.

Er, I did not say anything like that. Of course you'll reach Antartica. I asked:
I'll reach the Antartic continent at some point, right? I keep the same heading [South, 180] , I guess I'll fly to the edge of the Earth. And here is the question(s): has anybody ever reached this edge? How far is it? Will we ever be able to reach it?
So, what's beyond the Wall? And, how far is the edge?
I hope I'll explain my questions better from now on...

It depends on which FE theory you subscribe to.  I have personally postulated the Dark Energy Field Theory (DEFT):  At the edge of the FE is a boundary layer interaction field arising from the interaction of Dark Energy and the magnetic field of the FE.  This interaction produces a force normal to the boundary layer.  The DEF is responsible for maintaining the atmosphere on the FE.

Could one pierce this field?  Theoretically, yes.

So where is the edge and why do measured distances not support a fe shape?

How may we reach the edge? If we reach it, will we be able tostep beyond it?

How may we reach the edge?
By going south.  There is however, the conspiracy, that would not want you to actually reach the edge and may physically prevent you from doing so.

Possibly, if you can reach it.

How can I be physically stopped? If I fly straight out at an altitude of 71000 feet (possible for example with a SR-71) I am supposed to maintain that heading, so I'll reach it. How can something prevent me from reaching it?
