Firefox is the best browser.

I was using Internet Explorer; I noticed it's bad. Then, I start to use Google Chrome; it looked good at first, but now it's full of errors and lags. Currenty, I'm using Firefox and it have no notable problems. Conclusion: Firefox is better than Chrome and Explorer.

I used to use Firefox exclusively. It started out as a simple, fast browser. But it isn't the simplest, fastest browser anymore. So I use Chrome now and haven't really had any problems.

I find chrome to be faster and simpler. I do have the occasional problem with Shockwave Flash crashing, but that seems to have gone away with the most recent update.

Also, doesn't this belong in Tech & Info?

I don't *think* there's any scary Big Brother stuff built into Chrome. That's all built into the webpages themselves, so why would they have to? Besides, Google I'm sure knows everything they want to know about me whether I use Chrome or not.

Google is a major developer for Chromium.  They are also a heavy financier for Firefox.  They have their hands in all of the cookie jars.

It's not even a conspiracy. Google probably already knows everything about most people who use a computer. They have racks and racks of hard drives filled with personal data, not even connected to anything. They're just storing it in case they need it. What's stopping them from using it against us? The owners are already billionaires and seem pretty cool. That's about it.

You did not answer the question.  The term "IBM PC Compatible" only went out of fashion about 15 years ago, so I would assume that most people here has seen that in their lifetime.
