I would go back and re-read the thread. Most people have commented on the troll situation and then people other than the OP started the debate back up.

Take carbon dating for instance. Scientist claim that the Half life of Carbon is 5730±40 years - They are even so arrogant as to claim that the figure can only be off by a mere 40 years.

So, with this data scientists then assert that you can determine the age of something by measuring the amount of carbon that is left.

This is absolutely ridiculous because they are assuming that the rate at which Carbon decays is a constant variable and has remained the same since the beginning of time. What if carbon is deteriorating slower than it was 1000 years ago? What if it's faster?

That's just it you do not know. No one lived 1000 years ago so there is no way to determine how things were. We have ancient stone tablets with scriptures that are 1000s of years old. Yet, people claim that their wisdom is right and the Bible is wrong. Tell me, what other religious text says:

and lorddave who is to say it can't be both time and physical. i mean we exist and no matter how much 4d time you give a unfinnished comic it will not become finnished. it needs something in 3d for it to end. so we are both physical and act as time.
