I'm not alone!
« on: July 23, 2009, 05:28:42 PM »
I came across this site completely by accident. Since I was in 4th grade and they talked about the earth being round, I refused to believe it. I've stood by my beliefs my whole life! I always thought I was alone, professors would fail me (or at least threaten to) because I would preach to my classmates that the earth was flat. This was in high school of course. I always knew the answers, because teachers would fill our head with this crap about a globe.

Anyway, I'm just so happy to see I'm not alone. I can't believe I didn't know this site existed!

For those that have been on FE for a while, what's the best way to get involved? Do you guys have meetings somewhere?? It'd be great to meet a believer like me and talk about everything!

Any good threads to get involved in? I'd love to help people realize the truth!

Thanks everyone! So excited to be here!

-Robbie

Welcome to the site Robbie! The best way you can get involved right now is probably through the website. There are many many globularists coming here every day, and they need things explained to them by us. You're welcome to participate in any thread which takes your fancy.

I don't understand. I just found this site, hoping to meet others like myself...

James, glad to see not everyone attacks me. I realize I must prove that I'm a believer, and I am up to the challenge! However, I'm still trying to get a degree (in something unrelated to sciences of course - I realized early on that I can still manage people in business and not worry about my beliefs) - so time will be limited when school starts up again. Hopefully I can contribute this summer though!

Thanks!
Robbie

"True believer" or "devil's advocate", it's all pretty much the same here.  Welcome to FES.

good to see the flat earth lives with the truth at heart . lots of people discredit the flat earth but the true believers are out their. ive worked on the ice wall defending the conspiracy for NASA and have had to keep my identity secret for many years due to this. I ve accomplished a lot, seen the wall and the aliens that live ion the other side of the earth. This is true beauty to see someone who has always had this belief at heart and knows the truth. The alien race are looking for your sort and admire your heritage. Live the truth buddy the flat world is the truth.

You realize that using the terms "true believers" and "believers" you reduce the FET to the level of the religion? As the true FET'er you must not believe but do experiments and with the results you will know.

No, that's not true. The word "believer" indicates only "one who believes". You are "a believer" globularism. It isn't an epithet.

It may be, but to me it seems more like reference to the religion and I expressed my opinion. But I take into account your definition.
And I am no a believer of globularism, because it's some word again that you made up. It's a same as I can label you as a believer of levelitarism. Also I don't believe round earth, I know that earth is round. I have explained this in another threads so don't ask "why" here again.

Welcome Robbie,

Just out of interest, why did you decide to believe that the earth was flat? I've seen the argument played out before that young people cant make up their minds and are "brainwashed" from this young age into believing the world is spherical. I was wondering how you managed to avoid this. Also, what made you believe this, and hold to this belief through what must have been very hard years at school.
